When we're not behind our cameras capturing your love story, you can usually find us hanging with our three kitties and sweet pup — Mabel, Charlie, Benny, and Roscoe — grabbing Chick-Fil-A or catching up on the latest Netflix series. We currently live in a cozy community on Lake Oconee and are going on year seven of capturing weddings side by side as a married photo and video duo.
Lex leads the photography while Trev brings your story to life through film, allowing us to document your day from both perspectives seamlessly. Being a husband-and-wife team means we know exactly how the other works, anticipate moments together, and capture your wedding in a way that feels natural, cohesive, and full of heart.
Although we’re based in Georgia, we love traveling anywhere true love takes us. Our ideal couples are all about having fun, going on adventures, getting creative, and maybe even getting a little messy in the process.
Some of our greatest friendships have come out of this job, and we want the experience of being photographed and filmed to feel just as joyful as the memories themselves. We constantly have to pinch ourselves knowing we get to witness and preserve the happiest moments in people’s lives week after week.
Our biggest goal is simple: to capture you being authentically you. Every love story is unique, and we feel so honored to tell yours through both photographs and film.

When I’m not photographing sweet love stories, you can usually find me surrounded by my animals, binge-watching a cozy TV show, scream-singing Taylor Swift on a late-night drive, or taste-testing every new Blizzard flavor at Dairy Queen. I’m also known to bake up something delicious to satisfy my sweet tooth, which is often followed by a spontaneous little dance party in the kitchen.
My love for capturing memories started all the way back in elementary school, when I first picked up a camera with a heart wide open. After getting married myself, that passion deepened even more, and I’ve been professionally documenting love stories ever since.
I truly believe every couple deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and remembered — not just for the big moments, but for the quiet in-between ones too. I tend to think of every client as a new friend, and I take my role as a “memory preserver” to heart, telling love stories that feel as warm, real, and timeless as the people in them.
While I’m the photographer behind Lex & Trev Photo, my husband Trev is the storyteller behind our films. For the past six years we’ve documented weddings side by side — capturing your day through both photographs and motion. One of the greatest gifts this work has given us is the opportunity to tell love stories in beautiful places far beyond home. While Georgia will always be our home base, we’re always excited to pack our bags and follow our couples wherever their story leads.
